Kodak Medalist 120 MOD, 100mm f3.5 17923
This Kodak Medalist, #17923, is in good condition with some handling wear. I rate it cosmetically an (8+). The camera is mostly functional; film advances properly and the viewfinder is clear. It has been modified to take 120 film in the 620 take-up spool. The built-in Kodak Supermatic No. 2 shutter sticks when cocking sometimes. The shutter fires intermittently and is inaccurate at speeds below 25. The shutter speed ring and focus ring are smooth, but the aperture ring is a bit stiff. The aperture functions properly. The built-in Kodak 100mm f3.5 Ektar lens, #EE226, is in similar condition, also rated an (8+). The glass is clean and clear with no haze, marks, or fungus. There are a few faint specks of dust inside, but they do not affect image quality. This camera also includes a two-piece leather Kodak case with a neck strap. The leather is deteriorating with age. Please refer to the photos for details. This camera is sold AS-IS due to the cocking issues.
